Accueil new
Centre d’Appui Familial aims to support Francophone, Francophile and exogamous
families in Southern Alberta in their development and well-being.
Our Lethbridge office opened in September 2023 and since then we have been
offering services for both children and their families. Our services focus on
strengthening parental bonds and knowledge while giving social support and
teaching a variety of skills such as how to cope, how to problem solve and how to
access community resources.
In addition we offer support services for families as well as early-intervention for
children.
We work in collaboration with Francosud, the Francophone school district, to offer
after school programming in the French language.

Mission
Centre d’appui familial works in the areas of parental support and the healthy development of children and
youth. It equips Francophone, Francophile and exogamous families through programs, activities and
resources in French, to develop their resilience and well-being.
