Our After-School Activities Our after school clubs are a way to expose children to the French language outside of the academic setting. We have clubs for the young athletes, the creative mind, the book worm and the scientist ! A small snack is provided at the beginning and all activities are designed to encourage critical thinking among the children. We focus more on the process rather than the end result. The clubs take place at École La Vérendrye Monday - Thursday and are for children in K - 6 that are enrolled in either the francophone school or french immersion schools. Programming runs from 3:30 - 5:10 pm. Students from École La Vérendrye will be picked up from their classrooms, while students from immersion schools will need to be dropped off by their parent or guardian.

Tuesdays from January 14 to February 25 Sewing club: Through a series of hands-on workshops, participants will learn how to use different techniques to complete simple projects.
