This series of workshops, based on the Faber and Mazlish method, presents a simple and effective method for learning communication skills.
Using concrete and practical techniques, you will learn how to foster a positive image of your children, resolve conflicts, avoid punishment, encourage cooperation and impose firm limits. A final review of the program will be done during the 7th session.
Here is the content and themes of each session:
Helping children/teens struggling with their difficult feelings.
Encouraging the child/teen’s cooperation without endless daily arguments.
Replacing punishment while expressing disagreement and encouraging the child/teen to take responsibility for their behavior. Problem solving.
Encouraging autonomy.
Using compliments to help children/teens develop a positive self-image.
Helping children/teens to free themselves from the roles in which they are locked and which prevent them from flourishing: the clumsy, the shy, the lazy, the princess, the excited, etc.
